A “Weblog” – or “blog,” for short – is a Web site that consists of a collection of posts,
or entries, organized in reverse chronological order.

  • “Blogs are ideal for providing a fl ow of time-sensitive information, such as commentary and analysis of events.

Typical blogs include the following features:

  • Description
  • “Posts”
  • “Comments”
  • “Trackback”
  • “Permalink”
  • “Sidebars”

Using blogging in business “When  Pitching Your Business to a Blogger”:

• Keep it short.
• Start a conversation.
• Don’t ask directly for a link or a mention.
• Target individual bloggers; don’t send a mass e-mail.
• Focus on why the blogger might be interested in your product or service.
